Skin tones live or die in light magenta. This standard-capacity T099620 carries the pale half of the magenta range for the Artisan's six-colour Claria Hi-Definition system, keeping faces and pastel gradients smooth instead of dotted. Our compatible cartridge is rated up to 500 pages on the manufacturer's published rating. One official-source footnote we reproduce faithfully: Epson's own support list mislabels the high-capacity sibling code T098620 as plain 'Magenta' — it is the light magenta; codes, not labels, are what to trust in this family.
The cartridge carries a new compatible Intellidge-type chip — this cartridge carries a new compatible chip. if your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur, and on these long-discontinued printers chip quality matters more than firmware, which is what the lifetime warranty is for. Around it: T099220 cyan, T099320-S magenta, T099420 yellow, T099520-S light cyan, and the high-capacity T098120 black (no T099 black exists).
Fits all eight verified US Artisan models — Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 810, 835 and 837. Lifetime warranty; free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my printer need a light magenta at all?
For the palest magentas in photos — skin, blush tones, dawn skies. Full-strength magenta printed that lightly would show dots; the diluted cartridge lays the colour down smoothly.
What tier is T099620?
Standard capacity, like all T099 codes. The high-capacity tier is T098 — and note Epson's own list mislabels T098620 as 'Magenta' when it is the high-capacity light magenta; we follow the code, not the typo.
How many pages?
Up to 500 pages on the manufacturer's published rating for this code.
Which models?
Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 810, 835 and 837 — Epson's verified US list.
Light magenta vs magenta — interchangeable?
No. Different slots (T099620 vs T099320-S), different dilutions. Each cartridge goes in its own position.
Chip?
New compatible Intellidge-type chip. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur.
Faces print blotchy or too pink in highlights. Is this it?
Blotchy highlights point at the light cartridges; a pink cast can also mean light cyan is low by comparison. Check both light levels and run a nozzle check after any replacement.
Is there a stocked high-capacity light magenta?
Not yet — T098620 exists in Epson's list but compatible T098 colour singles aren't on our ladder; it's an open sourcing item, not a hidden product.
Which black completes the six?
The T098120 high-capacity black — the only black in the family, for standard and high tiers alike.
Is this Epson-made?
No — a Clever Supplies compatible built to the T099620 specification, labelled compatible everywhere.
Can I swap just this one?
Yes — six individual cartridges, six independent swaps.
Warranty and returns?
Lifetime warranty on the cartridge; free returns within the first year.
