Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is in the box?

Six cartridges: 1 × T098120 Black (high capacity) and one each of the five standard T099 colours — cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta. The contents table is printed on the box front.

Why is the black a different tier from the colours?

Because that is how Epson defined the family: black exists only as the high-capacity T098120, and the stocked compatible colours are the standard T099 tier. LD labels its identical set 'High Yield, Standard Yield' — we print the same honesty on the box.

How many pages does the set print?

Per cartridge, never summed: black up to 500 pages, each colour up to 500 (Epson published ratings). Six slots empty at six different rates.

Which printers does it fit?

All eight verified US models: Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 810, 835 and 837.

Is there an all-high-capacity set?

Not from the stocked ladder — compatible T098 colour singles aren't available on it. CAS sells all-T098 combinations, but our pricing rule builds from LD; an all-T098 set is an open decision item, not something we quietly substitute.

Chips?

New compatible Intellidge-type chips in all six. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur; the lifetime warranty covers each cartridge individually.

Is it cheaper than six singles?

Yes — $53.91 for the set against $62.94 for the six cartridges bought one by one.

Some slots are still half full. Install everything now?

Install what you need and store the rest sealed and upright. A set is a shelf kit as much as a reset.

Does this set fit the Artisan 720?

There is no US Artisan 720 in Epson's records — its verified list is the eight models above. We don't claim a fit we can't verify.

Where does the T097 fit in?

Nowhere here — T097120 is a DURABrite-family black for different printers. It is not part of this set or this family.

Is this a genuine Epson set?

No — the Clever Supplies compatible set, built to the six specifications above and labelled compatible on the box and this page.

Returns?
