Frequently Asked Questions

What's in the 13-pack?

3 × T098120 Black (high capacity) plus 2 each of the five standard colours: T099220, T099320-S, T099420, T099520-S, T099620. Contents are printed on the box front.

Why three blacks and two of each colour?

Black is the cartridge these printers consume fastest across mixed document-and-photo work, and it exists only in the high-capacity T098120. The split gives two colour refreshes plus a spare black.

Total pages for the pack?

Not a number we print — cartridges empty at different rates. Per cartridge: up to 500 pages each, black and colours, on Epson's published ratings.

Why is the pack mixed-tier?

Because the family is mixed-tier by Epson's own definition: the black is T098 (high capacity) only, and the stocked compatible colours are T099 (standard). The pack labels both tiers openly.

Which printers?

Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 810, 835 and 837 — the eight verified US models.

Chip expectations?

New compatible Intellidge-type chips throughout. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur. On discontinued printers, treat chip quality — and the lifetime warranty behind it — as the real safeguard.

Is the pack cheaper per cartridge?

Yes — $101.21 for thirteen is the lowest per-cartridge price in this family's ladder, below the Set of 6 and the singles.

How do I store thirteen cartridges?

Sealed in their boxes, upright, at room temperature and out of sunlight; install as slots empty. (Shelf-life figure pending supplier confirmation — see Specifications.)

We run two different Artisan models. One pack for both?

Yes — all eight models take the identical six codes, so one bulk pack can stock an Artisan 810 and an 837 side by side.

Does any of this fit a non-Artisan Epson?

No. These are the Artisan six-colour codes only; the T097 black sometimes listed alongside belongs to a different family and is not in this pack.

Genuine Epson?

No — a Clever Supplies compatible bulk set, labelled compatible on the box and this page.

Warranty and returns?

Lifetime warranty per cartridge — one failure never means returning thirteen — and free returns within the first year.
