Frequently Asked Questions
What consumables does the OKI B4600 use?
The B4600 uses the 43502001 family, which covers the toner cartridge and the image drum as separate replaceable units. You replace whichever one is actually worn instead of throwing away a combined unit.
My B4600 prints vertical streaks down every page. Toner or drum?
Vertical streaks that repeat at regular intervals are a classic worn-drum symptom. Check the drum life on the status page. Random light print or overall fading, by contrast, points to the toner running low.
Can the B4600 handle heavy cardstock or labels?
Yes, within its rated media weights. Feed heavy stock through the manual or multipurpose tray and select the matching media type in the driver so the fuser applies the right heat. Wrong media settings cause toner that rubs off the page.
