Frequently Asked Questions

What does the second cartridge in this 2-pack effectively cost?

Interesting math: a single cartridge is $26.81, and this pair is $35.11. So the second cartridge adds only $8.30 to the bill. Per cartridge the pair works out to about $17.56, and against two singles at $53.62 you save $18.51.

How many pages does the pair cover?

Each cartridge is rated at 3,000 pages, so the two together give you 6,000 rated pages. At $35.11, that brings the toner cost down to roughly 0.59 cents per page, compared with about 0.89 cents when buying one at a time.

Are both cartridges the standard 43502301?

Yes — two identical compatible black cartridges under Okidata part number 43502301, each with the same 3,000-page rating as the single listing. One goes in the printer now; the other waits as a ready spare.

Which printers can use these cartridges?

The B4400 named on this listing and its relatives: B4400n, B4500, B4500n, B4550, B4550n, B4600 and B4600n. A 2-pack can even be split between two different models from that family.

Does the spare cartridge keep its cover while it sits on the shelf?

Yes. The 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns apply to both cartridges in the pack, as set out in the shipping & returns policy. Keep the spare sealed and stored away from heat and sunlight.

Where does my order ship from, and can I get advice?

Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the Okidata brand page lists cartridges for the rest of the Oki lineup.
