Frequently Asked Questions

What does the second cartridge in this 2-pack actually cost me?

About $9.36. Two single 43502001 cartridges bought one at a time would cost $55.68; this 2-pack is $37.20, so each cartridge works out to $18.60 and the second one is effectively added for under ten dollars. That is the whole logic of the pack — the discount sits almost entirely on the spare. All figures are from the listed prices, and the saving against two singles is $18.48.

How much printing is in the box in total?

Two black toner cartridges, each rated up to 7,000 pages, so up to 14,000 pages across the pair. Per page, the math drops from roughly 0.4 cents on a single cartridge to about 0.27 cents here. How fast you use that up depends on coverage and volume — a shared office printer will move through it far quicker than a home office machine that prints a few times a week.

Which printers are these cartridges for?

The Oki B4550, B4550n, B4600 and B4600n. Both cartridges in the box are the same black toner, part number 43502001 — this is not a mixed pack, and there is no color component; these are monochrome printers and black is the only toner they take.

Should I swap both cartridges in at once?

No — a printer holds one cartridge at a time. Install the first and keep the second sealed on the shelf until the machine asks for it. A sealed cartridge stores fine at room temperature away from strong light, and having the spare ready is precisely the point: the swap takes minutes instead of waiting on a delivery while the printer sits idle.

Is this genuine Oki toner?

No, these are compatible cartridges built to the 43502001 specification. They carry a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — if one underperforms, the terms on the shipping & returns page apply to the pack as a whole.

How fast will my order move, and who helps if something is off?

Stock ships from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so most orders travel a short leg. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Singles, larger packs and the matching drum units for these printers are all listed on the Okidata brand page.
