Frequently Asked Questions

How does this 5-pack change the B4600's cost per page?

Buying singly, the cartridge costs $26.81 for 3,000 rated pages — about 0.89 cents a page. In this pack each cartridge works out to roughly $12.01, so across the pack's 15,000 rated pages the cost falls to about 0.40 cents per page. For a printer that runs all day, that difference adds up quickly.

What is the total saving compared with five singles?

Five singles total $134.05; the pack is $60.04. You save $74.01, and you also place one order instead of five. The cartridges themselves — Okidata 43502301, 3,000 pages each — are unchanged.

How long might 15,000 pages last a B4600?

At 500 pages a month, the pack covers about two and a half years; at 1,000 pages a month, roughly fifteen months; a heavy 2,000-page month pace uses it in about seven to eight months. Your mileage follows your page coverage as much as your page count.

Which printers can draw from this pack?

Any that take the 43502301: B4400, B4400n, B4500, B4500n, B4550, B4550n and B4600n, as well as the B4600 itself. The pack works as a shared cupboard supply for a group of those machines.

Do I lose any protection by buying in bulk?

None at all — a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns apply to every cartridge in the pack, spelled out in the shipping & returns policy.

Who do I contact with questions, and where does it ship from?

Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses, and you can find cartridges for other Oki models on the Okidata brand page.
