Frequently Asked Questions

Why would a busy office keep a spare of a cartridge that already lasts so long?

Because the longer a cartridge lasts, the easier it is to forget it will end at all. This two-pack of CE255X cartridges, $68.60, keeps one high-yield cartridge in the machine and its successor already in the building when the day finally comes.

What is in the pack, exactly?

Two CE255X cartridges, each sealed in its own box, each rated at 12,500 pages. Fit one now; the second stays factory-sealed until the first has done its long service.

How long a horizon does this pack cover?

For a front-office printer with heavy daily output, two 12,500-page cartridges represent a long planning window — the sort of purchase a practice manager or office lead makes once and then stops thinking about toner for a considerable time.

Does the spare need any attention while it waits?

None beyond sensible storage: sealed, flat, cool and dry. It can wait in the supply cupboard for many months and be fitted the moment it is needed, with no preparation.

What happens when the working cartridge fades during a deadline?

You finish the day. The sealed spare is a two-minute swap, the job reprints cleanly, and ordering a fresh pack becomes tomorrow's calm task instead of today's emergency.

How do we know when to order the next pack?

When the second cartridge goes into the printer. That moment — not the low-toner warning — is the natural reorder trigger, and it leaves a full 12,500-page cycle in hand while the new pack travels.
