Frequently Asked Questions

Does copying on my WorkCentre 6015 use these same cartridges?

It does. On a multifunction machine the scanner and the printer share one set of supplies, so a colour copy draws on the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges exactly as a colour print does. Owners who think of the 6015 mainly as a copier are often surprised how quickly the colours move — the copying is usually why.

What is in this set?

Four cartridges, one per colour position: 106R1630 in black, 106R1627 in cyan, 106R1628 in magenta and 106R1629 in yellow. That is a complete supply change for the machine in one $68.36 box, with no separate drum or additional consumable needed to complete the job.

Which cartridge will run out first?

Expect a colour to call first. Each colour is rated at up to 1,400 pages while the black 106R1630 carries up to 2,000, at the standard 5 percent coverage. Copying colour documents — brochures, photos, marked-up pages — leans on the three colours together, so they tend to approach empty in the same season even if black still shows life.

Is this the right set for the other 6015 variants too?

Yes. This listing is named for the WorkCentre 6015, and the same four codes serve the WorkCentre 6015V/B and WorkCentre 6015V/N, as well as the print-only Phaser 6010. The variant letters change the machine's features, never its cartridges.

If one colour empties, am I stopped completely?

Not for everything. Scanning to a computer uses no toner at all, and black-only work can typically continue while a colour is awaited — but colour copying and colour printing need all three colours present and alive. A full set on the shelf is what keeps a multifunction machine fully functional rather than partially so.

What warranty and returns cover do I get?

One year of warranty on each cartridge and free returns across that same full year; the details live on the shipping and returns page. Deliveries come out of warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, with support available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This WorkCentre 6015 Four-Color Set

A multifunction machine fails at more jobs when a colour dies — copying stops in colour too — so this set keeps all four positions covered at once: 106R1630, 106R1627, 106R1628 and 106R1629 for $68.36. It is the straightforward full refresh for a WorkCentre 6015 that prints, copies and scans through the week. The wider platform range sits on our Xerox toner page.
