Frequently Asked Questions

What does the per-cartridge price drop to in this five-pack?

To $38.41. The pack costs $192.07 for five ML-D2850B cartridges, so each unit is effectively $14.80 cheaper than the $53.21 single price. Across the cartridges that difference compounds: five singles would total $266.05, the pack is $192.07, and the $73.98 gap is real money left in the supplies budget.

Five singles would cost $266.05 - what does this pack do to the per-page figure?

It takes it from about 1.06 cents down to roughly 0.77 cents a page. The pack holds 25,000 rated pages - five fills of 5,000 - so the ML-2850 runs at the family's bulk rate for a long stretch. For a printer with a steady weekly output, that per-page difference, repeated over 25,000 sheets, is where the pack earns its shelf space.

Can one pack serve two different printers?

Yes, if both are on this cartridge's fit list. The ML-D2850B is listed for the ML-2850, ML-2850D, ML-2850DR, ML-2851ND and ML-2851NDL, so a pack bought for the ML-2850 can just as readily feed an ML-2851ND down the hall. Small fleets standardised on this Samsung family often keep one shared stock of this code for exactly that reason.

Which printers is this pack listed for?

The ML-2850 heads the list, joined by the ML-2850D, ML-2850DR, ML-2851ND and ML-2851NDL. Every cartridge in the box is the same ML-D2850B unit, so whichever of those machines asks first gets the next cartridge - there is no sorting or matching to do.

How do we keep five cartridges in good order?

Sealed, flat and in arrival order, in a cool dry cupboard rather than near a heater or in direct sun. Open each cartridge only when the printer is ready for it, and use the oldest first so nothing sits for years. Toner stores patiently under those conditions; the discipline is really about rotation, not preservation heroics.

What cover does the pack carry?

Every cartridge is covered by a one-year warranty, and returns run free of charge for a full year across the pack. If a cartridge arrives damaged or misbehaves early in its life, the return process on our shipping and returns page is the route, with support available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
