Frequently Asked Questions

Our ML-2850 handles the accounts desk - how long will three cartridges keep it supplied?

Three ML-D2850B cartridges are 15,000 rated pages. An accounts desk cycling invoices, statements and payment runs might use 150 to 300 pages on an ordinary day, which puts this pack somewhere between a couple of months and the better part of a quarter. End-of-month statement runs pull the figure forward, so treat the pack as a quarter's comfortable buffer rather than a fixed calendar promise.

What does each cartridge in this three-pack effectively cost?

At $122.65 for three, each cartridge works out at $40.88 - a clear step down from the $53.21 single price. Buying the same three cartridges separately would cost $159.63, so the pack saves $36.98. Per page, the three-pack runs at roughly 0.82 cents against about 1.06 cents for singles.

What is the total page budget of this pack?

Fifteen thousand pages as rated: three high-yield fills of 5,000 pages each, swapped in one at a time. Real life taxes that figure - dense statement pages and bold letterheads use more toner per sheet - but as a budget line for the accounts desk, 15,000 pages is the number to plan paper and toner orders around.

Which printers do these cartridges fit?

The ML-D2850B fits the ML-2850 named here, along with the ML-2850D, ML-2850DR, ML-2851ND and ML-2851NDL. If the accounts ML-2850 has a sibling from that list elsewhere in the building, this pack covers it too - the spare is never stranded on the wrong machine.

When should we reorder so the accounts desk never waits?

When the third cartridge goes in. At that point 5,000 pages remain in the machine - weeks of buffer at accounts-desk pace - and a fresh pack ships from the nearest of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, typically arriving within a few business days. Ordering at the last cartridge, not after it, is the whole trick.

What protection covers the pack?

A one-year warranty on every cartridge and free returns for a full year, the same cover as the single cartridge carries. If a unit arrives damaged or prints poorly from the start, the return route on our shipping and returns page applies, and support is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
