Frequently Asked Questions

What does buying five cartridges at once actually buy us?

The lowest price this black is sold at, and a shelf that stops being a worry. Five CLT-K505L cartridges cost $151.72 in this pack — $30.34 each, against $45.14 singly, a saving of $73.98 — and together they carry 30,000 rated pages. At that quantity the per-page cost of black falls to about 0.51 cents, and reordering becomes an annual event rather than a recurring interruption.

Who should not buy the five-pack?

Anyone whose printer sips toner. The warranty and free-returns year runs from the purchase date, so a five-pack only pays if your office will fit most of the five within that year — a cartridge every couple of months or faster. Below that pace, the two-pack or singles are the honest buy; we would rather sell you the quantity your page counter justifies.

Which printers will the five cartridges fit?

All five are the CLT-K505L black for Samsung's ProXpress C2620DW and ProXpress C2670FW, so a mixed office running both models draws from one box. The pack can also anchor stock for several machines of the same model. The colour supplies in those printers are the CLT-C505L, CLT-M505L and CLT-Y505L, which turn over far more slowly and are better ordered as they are needed.

Does a five-pack arrive as one shipment?

Yes — one box, one delivery, from the closest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses. That single arrival is part of the economics: five separate single orders would mean five deliveries spread over the year and five separate chances to discover an empty shelf on the wrong morning.

How should five cartridges be stored and rotated?

Sealed in their bags and boxes, stored flat in a dry cupboard, and used oldest-first. Toner does not spoil to a calendar, so a cartridge bought today is as good in nine months as it is this week — the rotation simply keeps stock orderly and makes sure the shelf unit that goes in next is always the one that has waited longest.

What protection backs a bulk purchase like this?

The same as any single: each cartridge carries a one-year warranty against defects, and returns are free at any point in the first year, with the workings set out on our shipping and returns page. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if a unit in the middle of the pack ever gives trouble.
