Frequently Asked Questions
Is an eight-cartridge set overkill, or does someone genuinely print this much?
For a single lightly used machine, honestly, it is more than you need — a smaller set would serve you better. But for a busy workgroup, a small fleet of these machines, or an office that orders supplies once or twice a year, eight cartridges is a normal procurement quantity. The right size is the one that matches your reorder rhythm, and this is the deepest stock we offer for the platform.
What does the per-cartridge price work out to?
At $498.19 for eight cartridges, the average is about $62.27 per cartridge. That is the benefit of buying at fleet depth — the unit cost drops compared with single-cartridge purchases, and one order replaces a long series of small ones across the year.
How much output does an eight-cartridge stock represent?
Using the family ratings — black cartridges up to 20,000 pages each and colors up to 15,000 each at standard 5% coverage — a stock this size supports well into six figures of total pages across its life. Dense color coverage reduces real-world yield, as always, but for planning purposes this is annual-scale supply for a working department, not a monthly top-up.
Does toner go bad sitting on the shelf that long?
Sealed cartridges stored flat in a cool, dry place away from sunlight keep their quality for an extended period — storage is not the weak point of a bulk purchase. Rotate stock so the oldest cartridge installs first, and avoid attics, garages, or anywhere with heat swings. Bought and stored sensibly, the last cartridge in this set performs like the first.
Which machines is this bulk set intended for?
It serves Ricoh Aficio MP C3002 and MP C3502. Our catalog refers to this family by the "8412" shorthand, but there is nothing specialized about the set — it is eight of the standard black and color cartridges these machines share, boxed as one supply order. Any machine in that family can draw from this stock.
If something goes wrong with one cartridge out of eight, what happens?
That cartridge is handled on its own: our one-year warranty covers each cartridge individually, and returns are free for a full year, so one faulty unit never means returning or risking the other seven. Reach our support team Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and we will sort it out. Full terms are on our shipping and returns page.
