Frequently Asked Questions
How does a six-cartridge set change our ordering routine?
It moves toner from a recurring interruption to a planned line item. With six cartridges on hand, most offices shift to checking stock on a calendar rhythm — quarterly, say — instead of reacting to low-toner warnings mid-job. That predictability is the real product here; the cartridges themselves are the same family units you would buy one at a time.
What is the math on this set?
Six cartridges for $402.82 averages roughly $67.14 per cartridge. Buying depth like this trims the per-cartridge cost versus single purchases and cuts the number of separate orders, deliveries, and invoices your office processes across the year.
Can the set be split between two machines or departments?
Yes — every cartridge in the set is a standard, individually boxed unit for this platform, so nothing stops you from stocking three at one machine and three at another, or allocating them by department for cost tracking. Many multi-machine offices buy at this size precisely because the stock pools cleanly wherever it is needed.
How long will six cartridges realistically last us?
It depends on your monthly volume, but the ratings frame it: black cartridges in this family run up to 20,000 pages each and colors up to 15,000 each at standard coverage. A mid-volume workgroup often measures a set this size in seasons rather than weeks. The honest check is against your own page counts — divide your monthly volume into the ratings and you will have a realistic calendar estimate.
Is this set the right one for our machine?
It is the stock-up set for Ricoh Aficio MP C3002 and MP C3502. You will see the family called "8412" in our listings; that shorthand refers to the shared cartridge family for this platform, and this six-cartridge set simply gathers those same black and color cartridges into one deeper supply box. If your machine belongs to that family, the set matches it.
What protection comes with a purchase this size?
Every cartridge is covered individually by our one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year — buying six at once does not shrink your protection on any single unit. If one cartridge misbehaves, that one is replaced or refunded while the rest of your stock stays covered and in service. Support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the details are spelled out on our shipping and returns page.
