Frequently Asked Questions
Our black output still looks perfect but every color page is off — is this the set we need?
Yes, that is exactly the situation this set exists for. The three color cartridges age on their own schedule, independent of the black, so it is common for color quality to fade while text stays crisp. Replacing cyan, magenta, and yellow together restores balanced color in one session — and note that this set contains no black cartridge, so you are not paying for one you do not need.
Why is there no black cartridge in this set?
Because on this platform the black cartridge is rated for up to 20,000 pages while each color is rated for up to 15,000 — and most offices print far more black than color. Black simply outlasts the colors. This set covers the three cartridges that actually wear out together, and the black is available separately whenever its turn comes.
What does this set save compared with buying the colors one at a time?
Cyan, magenta, and yellow bought individually total $247.65. This set is $210.66, a saving of $36.99, and you avoid the drip-feed of three separate orders arriving weeks apart while color quality limps along in between.
Should I install all three colors at once, or only the one that is empty?
Installing all three together gives the most predictable color — a fresh set calibrates evenly, so reds, greens, and skin tones come out consistent right away. If one color is truly empty and the other two still show healthy levels, swapping just that one is fine too; keep the remaining sealed cartridges on the shelf for when their turn comes.
Does this color set fit our machine?
It is made for Ricoh Aficio MP C3002 and MP C3502. In our catalog the family appears under the "8412" listing name, but the cartridges are the standard cyan, magenta, and yellow shared across this platform, each rated for up to 15,000 pages. If your machine runs this cartridge family, these are its three colors.
What if one of the three cartridges turns out to be faulty?
Then that cartridge alone is covered — our one-year warranty applies to each cartridge individually, and returns are free for a full year, so a single bad cartridge never means sending back the whole set. Keep the packaging until you have run a few color jobs, and if anything looks wrong, reach our team Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The complete terms are on our shipping and returns page.
About This 3 Color Set
This set bundles the three color cartridges — cyan, magenta, and yellow, each rated for up to 15,000 pages — for the Ricoh Aficio MP C3002 and MP C3502 platform, without the black cartridge those machines need less often. At $210.66 it saves $36.99 versus the three singles, and it is the right refresh when black output is still strong but color pages have lost their balance. Shipments leave our IL, PA, GA, and CA warehouses, and every cartridge carries a one-year warranty with one-year free returns. Find the matching black cartridge on our Ricoh toner page.
