Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy two 45,000-page cartridges at once?

One works, one waits. A single 331-9795 already carries a B5465 for months, but when it does run out, it runs out on a machine the whole department depends on — and a production printer standing idle while a delivery is in transit costs more than toner ever will. The second cartridge on the shelf turns a stoppage into a two-minute swap.

What does the 2-pack pricing do to the cost of each cartridge?

The pair costs $246.33, which is $123.17 per cartridge against $132.41 bought singly — $18.49 saved across the two. Across the pack's 90,000 rated pages the per-page cost eases to about 0.27 cents, so the spare in the cupboard is also the slightly cheaper cartridge of the two.

Will the spare cartridge deteriorate sitting on the shelf?

Kept sealed in its packaging, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, a toner cartridge waits patiently — toner is a dry powder, not a liquid that dries out. The practical rules are simple: leave the seal intact until the day it is needed, store it flat, and use the older stock first when the next order arrives.

Are both cartridges in this pack the same 331-9795?

Yes. This listing is two identical compatible black cartridges, each rated at up to 45,000 pages, each carrying Dell part number 331-9795 for the B5465. There is no mixed assortment to sort through — whichever box you open first is the right one.

Is this pack a genuine Dell product?

No. These are compatible cartridges made by a third-party manufacturer to the same specification, not Dell-built stock. The offer stands on the numbers: two cartridges, 90,000 rated pages in total, $246.33, and the warranty described below.

What cover applies to a 2-pack?

Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Full terms are on our shipping & returns page.
