Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly lands on our bench when this set is delivered?

Four sealed high-yield cartridges for the Phaser 6700 — one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow — for $221.21 in total. There is nothing else to order alongside it; the box is the complete four-channel restock for the machine.

Will the rated yields survive the way a studio actually prints?

The figures — 18,000 pages for black 106R01510 and 12,000 pages each for the three colors — are measured at light, standard document coverage. Proof pages, comps and presentation boards carry far heavier ink loads, so a studio should read those numbers as best-case ceilings. On full-color work the color channels will empty well ahead of the ratings; on mixed office work they land much closer.

Which part numbers belong to which color in this set?

Black is 106R01510, cyan is 106R01507, magenta is 106R01508 and yellow is 106R01509. The number is printed on each cartridge box, so a ten-second check against that list tells you whether the set on the shelf is the right family before anyone opens a seal.

A color just ran dry in the middle of a client run — are we stuck?

Only that channel is out. The four cartridges are consumed independently, so you lift out the empty color, drop in its replacement and finish the run while the other three carry on untouched. Black-only work can continue even with a color bay empty.

How long can an unopened set wait between projects?

Sealed, stored flat indoors and kept away from heat and sunlight, the cartridges keep well for many months. Project-driven studios commonly hold one full set in reserve so a rush job never waits on a delivery; just work the older set into the machine before the newer one.

What happens if one cartridge underperforms?

You are covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns on every cartridge in the set. Support is staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and shipments originate from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA. The full terms live on our shipping and returns page, and more of the Xerox range is gathered on the brand page.

About This Phaser 6700 High Yield Toner Set

For a studio, the Phaser 6700 is a color machine first, and this set respects that: cyan 106R01507, magenta 106R01508 and yellow 106R01509 each rated at 12,000 pages, backed by a black 106R01510 rated at 18,000 pages for the text and line work that runs alongside the color. One set at $221.21 puts every channel back to full at the same time.

Because the channels swap independently, the set also suits the way studios really consume toner — a magenta-heavy season drains one bay while the others idle. Restock once, replace as needed, and let the ratings guide your reserve shelf rather than your deadline.
