Frequently Asked Questions

Several of us share this printer. Who should reorder, and when?

Nominate one person and one trigger: when the first channel reports low — not empty — that person orders. This set covers black 106R01147, cyan 106R01144, magenta 106R01145 and yellow 106R01146 in a single carton, so one order restocks every channel at once and nobody has to work out which colleague was supposed to buy which color.

Are the color cartridges really rated the same as the black?

Yes — 10,000 pages for the black and 10,000 pages each for cyan, magenta and yellow, all at standard coverage. That is unusual for a toner family, where colors normally carry the smaller number, but it is the genuine specification for this line. In a shared office the black still tends to run out first, simply because most pages are mostly text.

Can a non-technical colleague swap a cartridge without help?

Yes. The spent cartridge lifts out of its own slot and the fresh one slides in until it seats; each color only fits its own position, so a magenta cannot accidentally end up in the yellow bay. The whole change takes a couple of minutes, and the job that was waiting in the queue can be released as soon as the machine registers the new cartridge.

What is inside the $158.54 carton?

Exactly four sealed cartridges, one per channel. Nothing else is bundled in — if the printer is also asking for a drum or another wear item, that part has its own supply number and belongs on a separate line of the order.

How fast can a replacement set get to our office?

Stock leaves from the closest of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA, and the expected windows are published on our shipping and returns page. Workgroups that print all day usually keep the incoming set as the shelf spare once it arrives, so the next low warning is a two-minute fix instead of a wait.

What happens if one cartridge from the set fails early?

It is covered individually: the set carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, so the faulty cartridge alone goes back for a replacement or refund while its three partners stay in the machine. Our team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the rest of the Xerox line is on the brand page for any other printer on your floor.

About This Phaser 6350DP High-Yield Four-Color Toner Set

A shared Phaser 6350DP has a particular failure mode: it never runs out of toner when the person who orders supplies is actually in the room. This set removes the guesswork — all four channels in one carton, each rated at 10,000 pages, for $158.54. Agree on the reorder trigger, keep the carton by the printer, and a low-toner message stops being an office-wide problem and becomes a two-minute cartridge swap.
