Frequently Asked Questions

Our front desk prints intake forms all morning — how far does the black cartridge go?

Black 106R01510 is rated at 18,000 pages, which covers a long stretch of registration forms, insurance paperwork and appointment reminders before it asks for attention. The three colors — cyan 106R01507, magenta 106R01508 and yellow 106R01509 — are rated at 12,000 pages each, plenty for the color-coded charts and patient handouts a clinic mixes into the day.

When the supply closet gets reorganized, how do we tell the cartridges apart?

Go by the part number printed on each box rather than the box color. In this set, 106R01510 is the black cartridge, 106R01507 is cyan, 106R01508 is magenta and 106R01509 is yellow. Shelving them in that number order keeps a busy front desk from grabbing the wrong box during a morning rush.

A color runs out with patients in the waiting room — does printing stop?

No. The four cartridges are consumed independently, so an empty color only pauses work that needs that color. Black-and-white forms keep printing, and whoever is free can lift the spent cartridge out and seat its replacement while the rest of the set carries on.

How should a spare set be kept in a clinic supply room?

Leave the cartridges sealed, stored indoors away from direct sunlight and heat vents. Unopened, they wait patiently for many months, so keeping one full set behind the active one is a sound habit — when a cartridge is finally swapped, rotate the older stock in first.

What does the set cost, and what backs it if one cartridge disappoints?

The complete four-cartridge set is $221.21. Each cartridge is protected by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a cartridge that streaks across a patient form or fades early can go back without cost to the practice.

Who do we contact for help, and where would a replacement come from?

Our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, which keeps delivery times short for most clinics. The details live on our shipping and returns page, and the wider Xerox range sits on the brand page.

About This Phaser 6700DN High Yield Toner Set

A clinic cannot reschedule patients around a toner outage, which is what this set is built to prevent. The Phaser 6700DN gets an 18,000-page black cartridge, 106R01510, for the form-heavy front desk, plus cyan 106R01507, magenta 106R01508 and yellow 106R01509 at 12,000 pages apiece for charts and handouts.

At $221.21 for all four high-yield cartridges, the set lets a practice restock every channel in one order and then replace each cartridge only as it empties — the practical rhythm for an office where the printer is part of patient flow, not an afterthought.
