Frequently Asked Questions
We like to keep a spare set on the shelf. How should it be stored until the machine needs it?
Leave every cartridge sealed in its own packaging, flat, in a normal office cupboard away from heaters and direct sun. Toner is a dry powder, so a sealed cartridge waits patiently — there is no clock running on it the way there is on liquid ink. Open each one only when its channel in the machine actually calls for it.
How do we verify this set against the printer in our drawings office?
Read the cartridge numbers off the supplies display of the Phaser 6180N, or off the labels of the cartridges it is running now. The match you want is black 113R00726, cyan 113R00723, magenta 113R00724 and yellow 113R00725. If those four numbers are what your machine reports, this is its refill set — the check takes under a minute.
Our color work is drawings and markups rather than photographs. How do the ratings translate?
Ratings are set at standard document coverage: 8,000 pages for black and 6,000 for each color. Line work and markup layers sit closer to that assumption than full photographic fills do, so a drafting workload tends to land nearer the published figures than a photo workload would. Redline-heavy weeks will still lean on one or two colors harder than the rest — watch whichever channel carries your markup color.
What does $211.70 cover?
The complete four-cartridge set: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow, each sealed and high-yield. Nothing beyond the four cartridges is in the carton — a drum unit or any other consumable the printer requests is a separate item under its own part number.
How is the set shipped to us?
From whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA is closest to your address. The delivery windows and carrier arrangements are described on our shipping and returns page. Firms that print client deliverables against submittal dates usually order the spare before the installed set runs dry, not after.
What backs these cartridges if one underperforms?
A 1-year warranty covers every cartridge in the set, and returns are free for the same 1-year period, so a weak unit is swapped or refunded. Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the rest of the Xerox range is collected on the brand page if your office runs more than one machine.
About This Phaser 6180N High-Yield Four-Color Toner Set
The Phaser 6180N in a small engineering office is a production tool, not a convenience printer — drawings, marked-up plans and spec binders come off it all week. This high-yield set is built for that tempo: the black 113R00726 is rated at 8,000 pages and the three colors at 6,000 pages each, stretching the interval between supply orders across whole project phases. Confirm the four part numbers on your machine's display, order the set at $211.70, and keep the shelf spare sealed until a submittal week demands it. See the wider Phaser 6180 family page for the other models in this line.
The hardware underneath is one family, and the model list shows it: Phaser 6180, Phaser 6180DN, Phaser 6180MFP, Phaser 6180MFP/D and Phaser 6180MFP/N. Each color is also sold on its own — the magenta 113R00724 cartridge, yellow (113R00725), the 113R00726 black cartridge and the cyan 113R00723 cartridge — for topping up a single position as it runs dry.
