Works Great
Works great in my Xerox 6180. The ink did have problems adhering when there was really heavy coverage but you can change setting to let your printer fuser heat up a bit more my saying it's thicker paper and it adheres fine no flaking. If you are printing

Great deal considering what actual Xerox toners co
Great deal considering what actual Xerox toners cost. The only minor issue is that it doesn't tell you when it's low. It just says "replace black cartridge" and the printer will not work until you replace it. But the life of it is as good as the real thin

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do pale yellows fade out of a print long before the cartridge reports itself empty?
Yellow is the palest toner in the set, and pale is exactly what the eye stops trusting first. A lemon panel, a cream background, a gold rule under a heading — each of those is laid down as a thin wash of yellow, so when the supply inside the 113R00725 starts to thin, that wash is the first thing to lose its density. The page does not go blank; it goes cold. Whites take on a faint blue cast, warm photographs lose their sunlight, and a yellow that looked buttery on screen comes off the tray looking barely tinted. Solid black lettering gives you no warning at all, because it never touches this cartridge. Judge this color by its lightest work, not by whether text still looks fine.
What does $73.21 for 6,000 pages actually work out to, and what moves that figure in real use?
The rated arithmetic is simple: $73.21 divided across a 6,000-page yield puts the 113R00725 at about 1.22 cents for each rated page. What moves the figure afterwards is coverage, and yellow coverage swings harder than most. A month of letters carrying one small yellow logo barely sips at the fill, so the same cartridge stretches across far more calendar time than the rating suggests. A run of full-color flyers with yellow backgrounds does the opposite, drawing heavily on every sheet. Reprints are the hidden cost in both directions — pages discarded because the color looked wrong consume toner without producing anything usable — so the cheapest yellow page is the one that comes out right the first time on a healthy cartridge.
I mostly print spreadsheets and highlighted documents — does the yellow cartridge matter for that kind of work?
More than the page count suggests. The yellow highlighter row that marks an overdue invoice, the amber cell that flags a figure for review, the green status block built from yellow laid over cyan — all of that signalling runs through this cartridge, even on days when nobody prints a single photograph. On a multifunction machine such as the Phaser 6180MFP, copied worksheets and scanned handouts lean on the same supply. When yellow runs down, the color coding that people read at a glance quietly stops meaning what it meant: greens slide toward blue and warning shades lose the warmth that made them stand out. For offices that run their workflow by color, a tired yellow is a filing error waiting to happen.
How can I confirm it is the yellow supply that is low when a yellow test patch always looks faint anyway?
Do not test yellow with yellow — test it with a color that cannot exist without it. Print a page carrying one solid green block and one solid orange block. Green is built from this cartridge combined with cyan, and orange from this cartridge combined with magenta, so both witnesses fail in opposite directions when yellow is the missing ingredient: the green drifts toward blue, and the orange drifts toward red. If both blocks are wrong in those directions on a Phaser 6180, while a plain blue block and a plain red block on the same page still look close to normal, the evidence points at the 113R00725 and not at the other slots. That two-color check takes one sheet and settles a question that staring at a pale yellow patch never will.
Is it sensible to replace only the yellow cartridge and leave the other colors in place?
Yes — that is how this family of machines is meant to be run. Each color lives in its own slot and is consumed at its own rate, and yellow rarely empties in step with its neighbours, because few offices use the four colors evenly. Swapping just the 113R00725 when its output fades, and leaving a healthy cartridge where it sits, avoids throwing away toner you have already paid for. The change itself is brief: power the printer idle, open the cover, lift the spent yellow unit out of its bay, unwrap the fresh one, slide it home until it settles, and close up. A networked Phaser 6180DN is back accepting jobs from the whole office within minutes, with no other slot disturbed.
What cover do I get if this cartridge faults, and how do delivery and support work?
Every unit is backed by a 1-year warranty together with 1-year free returns, so a cartridge that leaks, streaks only in its yellows and greens, or gives up far short of its rated life can be sent back without return postage falling on you, for a replacement or a refund. Parcels are dispatched from the IL, PA, GA or CA warehouse best placed for the delivery address, keeping transit short in most regions. If you want a second opinion on a suspect print before returning anything, support is staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The full wording is published on our shipping and returns page.
About This 113R00725 High-Yield Yellow Cartridge
Think of yellow as the light source inside every color print. It is the toner that warms a page up: sunlight in a photograph, gold in a certificate border, the highlight that pulls an eye to the one row that matters. This Clever Supplies compatible cartridge is the high-yield replacement for the Xerox 113R00725, sold as a single unit at $73.21 with a rated yield of 6,000 pages — near 1.22 cents per rated page. Because its work hides inside greens, oranges and every warm neutral, its decline is easy to miss and expensive to ignore: documents keep printing, but the color logic readers depend on has already shifted underneath them.
One cartridge serves the whole Phaser 6180 line, from the desktop printer and its networked and multifunction variants — the Phaser 6180MFP/D and the Phaser 6180MFP/N among them — alongside the base and multifunction models linked above. Reorder against the code on the unit you are removing: when that code reads 113R00725, this listing is the same color, the same high-yield capacity and the same single-cartridge quantity, ready to restore the warmth and balance your color pages have been losing.
