Frequently Asked Questions
What toner does the OKI B4100 take?
The B4100 uses toner cartridge 42103001, the same single-cartridge family as the B4350. It is a monochrome printer with one consumable to track.
Does the B4100 use the same toner as the B4350?
Yes. Both models take the 42103001 cartridge, so offices running the two side by side only need one spare type on the shelf.
My B4100 prints gray instead of black text. What should I check?
First confirm toner-save or economy mode is off in the driver, since that deliberately lightens output. If prints are still gray with the mode off, the 42103001 cartridge is likely near empty.
