Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner cartridge does the B4250 take?
Your B4250 takes 42103001 — a single black toner cartridge that drops into the front of the printer in seconds.
Prints from my B4250 are coming out faded — is the toner empty?
Light or gray prints from the B4250 usually mean the toner cartridge is nearly spent. A gentle shake can buy a few more pages, but plan on replacing the 42103001 soon.
How do I fix streaks on prints from the B4250?
First clean the LED array inside the B4250 with a soft dry cloth — dust on the lens draws straight lines down every page. If the streaks survive cleaning and a fresh 42103001 cartridge, suspect the image drum.
