Frequently Asked Questions

Premium versus standard MC562W set — what is actually different?

On every measure we can put a number on: nothing. This Premium Quality set is $64.38, the same as the standard MC562W set, and the ratings are identical — the black cartridge (Oki 44469801) at up to 3,500 pages, each color (Oki 44469701, 44469702, 44469703) at up to 3,000 pages. We could dress the word "Premium" up, but the honest position is that both listings give you the same four compatible cartridges at the same price, under the same warranty. Pick either listing; the value is the same.

What are the four part numbers I should see on the cartridges?

The set covers 44469801 for the black position and 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 across cyan, magenta and yellow. Those are the Oki numbers this printer family is built around, and having all four in one box means you never end up mid-job missing the one color the printer is demanding.

My prints have started looking washed out. Will a fresh set fix that?

If the fading is even across the page or one color has gone pale, an aging cartridge is the usual cause, and a fresh set is the usual fix. If only one color looks weak, you can install just that cartridge from the set and hold the rest back. Streaks in a single repeating pattern, though, can point to a drum or transfer issue rather than toner — if a new cartridge does not cure it, talk to our support team (Monday–Friday, 9–5 Central) before assuming the set is at fault.

How should I store the cartridges I am not installing yet?

Keep them sealed in their packaging, stored flat or upright in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight. Toner cartridges keep well for a long time stored that way, which is part of the appeal of buying the full set: three spares sit quietly on the shelf until the day the printer asks for them.

What cover do I get with this set?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every cartridge, the same as our other compatible Oki cartridges. If one fails early or prints poorly, we will sort it out under those terms — see our shipping and returns page for the full policy.

Where does the set ship from?

From whichever of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses is positioned to reach you fastest. The rest of our Okidata lineup is available if you also run C-series or other MC-series machines.

About This Okidata MC562W Premium Quality 4 Color Set

Four compatible cartridges for the Okidata MC562W — black plus cyan, magenta and yellow — covering Oki part numbers 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703, rated up to 3,500 pages for black and 3,000 pages for each color. The set is $64.38, roughly $16.10 a cartridge, and a note in plain terms: the Premium Quality listing matches the standard set on price, yield and warranty, so there is no hidden upgrade and no hidden catch — just a complete set at the same fair price. Orders ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and support is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central.
