Frequently Asked Questions

One color in my MC362 always runs out first — is that normal?

Completely. Color consumption follows your documents, not a schedule: the color inside your logo, your charts and your letterhead is spent on every page, while the others are barely touched. On most MC362 machines one of cyan, magenta or yellow will consistently finish ahead of the rest. That is exactly the situation a four-cartridge set solves — when the early finisher empties, its replacement is already on your shelf, and the other three from the set wait their turn as sealed spares.

What does this set contain?

One black cartridge rated up to 3,500 pages and one each of cyan, magenta and yellow rated up to 3,000 pages each, together replacing the Oki cartridge numbers 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703. The full set for the Oki MC362 is $64.38 — about $16.10 per cartridge — in a single box.

How do the ratings translate into everyday printing?

Yields are quoted at 5% coverage, the density of typical office text. The black's 3,500 pages equal roughly seven reams of paper; each color's 3,000 pages equal roughly six reams of color printing. Print a lot of full-page graphics and the colors will land short of the rating; print mostly memos and the black will be the first to go despite its higher rating.

Can the cartridges be replaced individually later?

Yes — nothing about the set format changes how the MC362 uses toner. Each cartridge seats in its own slot and is tracked separately by the printer, so swaps happen one at a time as needed. Buying as a set is about price and readiness, not about forcing a four-at-once change.

Which printers besides the MC362 use this family?

The cartridge numbers 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 are listed for the Oki C330dn, C331dn, C530dn and C531dn, and for the MC362W, MC562w, MC890 and MC950. If a colleague's printer is among those, your spare set fits their machine too — worth knowing in a pinch.

What guarantee comes with the set?

A 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year on these compatible cartridges, with the details on our shipping & returns page. Orders ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
