Cheap and works well
This was very inexpensive toner that works great in my printer. I'm not really sure what else to say about it. It allows you to print so I have no complaints.
-
Works great
The toner works well however when I print with very heavy coverage like a large photo sometimes the toner flakes off. Not sure if that is a printer paper or toner issue. However it works great for "normal" printing.
-

Frequently Asked Questions
What does "High Yield" mean on the 12X?
It describes the fill: this Q2612X cartridge is rated at 3,000 pages, so a printer fitted with one runs longer between changeovers. Everything else about the job — open the door, slide the old one out, slide this one in — is unchanged.
What is in the box?
One sealed Q2612X black high-yield cartridge, priced at $28.15. Remove the protective packaging and sealing strip as directed on the box and it is ready to install.
How do I make certain I reorder the high-yield version?
Quote the full code from the label of the cartridge you take out: Q2612X, final letter included. The X is part of the order code, not a decoration — leave it off and you will be sent a different cartridge.
Who gains most from a high-yield cartridge?
The owner of one busy printer that nobody wants to keep opening up: a reception desk, a till point, a classroom. Where the machine's output is steady week after week, a 3,000-page rating simply means the toner question comes up less often.
Our volume dips for a month or two at a time. Does a part-used cartridge suffer?
No. The toner inside is a dry powder that neither dries out nor settles permanently; after a quiet spell, a gentle side-to-side rock levels it again and printing carries on where it left off.
How will I know this cartridge is nearing its end?
The supplies status page gives an estimated level, and evenly fading pages are the visible sign. A gentle rock buys a little more life once fading starts, but that is the point to have the next cartridge ordered.
About This Q2612X High-Yield Cartridge
A LaserJet 1022 in daily front-desk service is exactly the machine the Q2612X was made for: same printer, longer intervals. One cartridge, rated at 3,000 pages and priced at $28.15, keeps the changeovers rare and the desk drawer free of spare-toner clutter.
The cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. It ships from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, with the full delivery details on the shipping & returns page. Our team is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the rest of this family's range is listed under HP.
Machines on the fit list: LaserJet 1020, LaserJet 1022, LaserJet 1022n, LaserJet 1022nw, LaserJet 3015, LaserJet 3020, LaserJet 3030, LaserJet 3050, LaserJet 3052, LaserJet 3055, LaserJet M1005 MFP, LaserJet M1319, LaserJet M1319F, LaserJet 1010, LaserJet 1012, LaserJet 1015 and LaserJet 1018. Each one takes this same 12X (Q2612X). The same printers are also served by the standard-yield 12A (Q2612A) single cartridge and the jumbo-yield 12AJ (Q2612AJ) single cartridge.
