WF-7310 Ink — 812XL for Wide-Format Documents

Epson's cartridge documentation for the WF-7310 lists the 812 code set in three tiers: standard 812, high-capacity 812XL in all four colours, and — for black only — the extra-high 812XXL. Our shelf stocks the XL tier: T812XL120 black, T812XL220 cyan, T812XL320 magenta and T812XL420 yellow, each rated up to 1,100 pages on the ISO/IEC 24711 pattern, DURABrite Ultra pigment ink throughout. The standard tier and the black-only XXL are named here so you can match them against the cartridge you are removing; they are not part of the compatible ladder for this family.

The boundary that matters most on this page: the WF-7310 is an 812 printer, full stop. The WF-3820-class office models often listed beside it online take 822 cartridges in the US — a different cartridge that does not fit here, whatever an overseas listing claims (in some regions those printers are sold under the 812 name; that is a regional code, not US compatibility).

Which 812XL should you buy?

One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles — black $25.49, cyan $22.49, magenta $22.49, yellow $22.49.
Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($83.94) replaces all four positions in one box.
Stocked shelf: the Set of 9 ($175.37) stocks three blacks and two of each colour — the pattern wide-format offices actually consume.

Chip, ink and everyday use

Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip with ink-level reporting, so the printer tracks each position normally. Epson's guides for this family state the firmware position plainly — the printer is designed for genuine Epson cartridges, and firmware updates may affect the functionality of third-party ink. Reseat the cartridge and restart first if a warning follows an update; the lifetime warranty stands behind every cartridge regardless, with free returns for the first year. The ink is DURABrite Ultra pigment: sharp, dry and water-resistant on documents and drawings alike.
