Magenta is the colour that decides whether a presentation board looks rich or washed out — reds, purples and skin tones all lean on it. Our compatible T812XL320-S is the high-capacity magenta for the 812 line: DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, rated up to 1,100 pages (ISO/IEC 24711), matching the rest of the XL tier colour for colour.

This is also the cartridge whose own Epson product data anchors the family's compatibility list: Epson's record for T812320-S names the WorkForce EC-C7000 and the WorkForce Pro WF-7310, WF-7820 and WF-7840 — the complete US roster for 812, four wide-format machines and no others. If your printer is one of those four, this magenta is its magenta; if it is a WF-3820-class office model, your family is the separate 822 line and nothing on this page fits it.
It works in any mix with its siblings — T812XL120-S black, T812XL220-S cyan, T812XL420-S yellow — and alongside standard-tier colours (the standard magenta code is T812320-S) while you transition a printer to XL. The cartridge carries a new compatible chip; please read the firmware note in the questions below before ordering. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of ink is inside?
DURABrite Ultra pigment ink — the same ink family Epson specifies for the whole 812 line, in all four colours. Pigment ink is why these printers are known for smudge-, water- and fade-resistant prints.
How many pages does this magenta print?
Up to 1,100 pages on the ISO/IEC 24711 pattern — Epson's published rating for the T812XL320. As with every colour, the sheet count in real life depends on how much magenta your pages carry; a run of red-heavy posters is not a run of invoices.
My reds look orange and my purples look blue. Is magenta low?
That colour shift is the classic magenta symptom: without enough magenta, reds slide orange and purples lose their red component. Check the level reading, run a nozzle check, and clean only if the pattern is broken — if the cartridge is spent, replacing it restores the balance.
Which printers does it fit?
The four officially verified US models: WF-7310, WF-7820, WF-7840, EC-C7000. Epson's product record for this very colour's standard code (T812320-S) names exactly that list.
Is there a standard-capacity version of this cartridge on your shelf?
No. Our 812 shelf is built on the XL tier — the standard magenta (T812320-S) exists in Epson's catalogue and fits the same slot, and it is named here for matching, but the cartridge we sell in this colour is the XL.
Will this cartridge be recognised by my printer?
This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — Epson's own guide for these printers states that firmware updates may affect the functionality of third-party ink. Power the printer off, reseat the cartridge until it clicks, and restart before assuming the cartridge is faulty. We do not promise recognition under every future firmware version; if a recognition problem cannot be cleared, the cartridge is covered by our lifetime warranty.
Can I turn off automatic firmware updates?
Yes, and on these models we recommend it once your compatible cartridges are working: the setting lives in the printer's setup / maintenance menus and in the Epson software on your computer. It is the simplest protection against a future update changing how the printer treats a compatible chip.
How do I install it?
Remove the old magenta cartridge, take the new one out of its pack only when you are ready, remove only the protective tape, and do not touch the green chip. Press it into the magenta holder until it clicks, close the cover, and let the printer charge the ink before printing.
A seller lists this magenta for the WF-4830. Should I buy it for mine?
Not from us, and not for that printer. In the US the WF-4830 is an 822 printer; the "812" label on that listing comes from regions where the same machine is sold under the 812 name. The cartridges are physically different and will not be recognised.
How should I store a spare cartridge?
Sealed in its pack, upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Do not open the pack until install day — the seal is what keeps the cartridge reliable. (A specific shelf-life figure is not published for this product; see Specifications.)
Is this a genuine Epson cartridge?
No — it is a Clever Supplies compatible cartridge built to the genuine cartridge's specification and code, labelled compatible on the box and on this page. It is not manufactured by Epson.
What warranty and returns cover this cartridge?
A lifetime warranty: a cartridge that fails to perform is replaced. Free returns run for the first year. (Returns note: the 1-year returns period is our standing compatible-product policy, applied to inkjet as an assumption pending Emrah's inkjet-specific confirmation.)
