EC-C7000 Ink Cartridges — 812XL for the Colour Workhorse

Epson's own 812XL combo listing names the EC-C7000 alongside the WF-7310, WF-7820 and WF-7840 — the complete US roster for this family is those four wide-format machines, and the EC-C7000 takes exactly the same cartridges as the other three: standard 812, 812XL in all four colours, and 812XXL for black only. Our shelf carries the XL tier: T812XL120 black, T812XL220 cyan, T812XL320 magenta and T812XL420 yellow, up to 1,100 pages per cartridge (ISO/IEC 24711), DURABrite Ultra pigment.

Do not let the EC prefix pull you toward the family's other EC model: the EC-C110 is a different, mobile printer that runs Epson 215 cartridges (a black plus a combined tri-colour) and takes nothing on this page. EC-C7000 means 812; EC-C110 means 215.

Which 812XL should you buy?

One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles — black $25.49, cyan $22.49, magenta $22.49, yellow $22.49.
Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($83.94) replaces all four positions in one box.
Stocked shelf: the Set of 9 ($175.37) stocks three blacks and two of each colour — the pattern wide-format offices actually consume.

Chip, ink and everyday use

These cartridges are chipped, and the chip question deserves a straight answer on this page too: a new compatible chip reports ink levels to the printer, and Epson's own documentation warns that firmware updates may affect third-party ink. Turning off automatic firmware updates is the practical step we recommend in the product questions. The DURABrite Ultra pigment ink keeps wide-format prints crisp and dry to the touch. Lifetime warranty on every cartridge; free returns within the first year. The four packs change independently, one colour at a time. All four models in this family share one shelf, so a spare set is never stranded on the wrong printer. At 1,100 rated pages per cartridge, the Set of 9 is the drawer stock for offices that print wide-format daily.
