WF-5190 Ink Cartridges — 786XL High Capacity

Epson's Canada listing for this family's XL black names the WF-5190 in its six-model compatibility list, with the family's XL yields: T786XL120 black up to 2,600 pages, T786XL220 cyan, T786XL320 magenta and T786XL420 yellow up to 2,000 pages each (ISO/IEC 24711). Our range follows that list exactly — four XL singles and an all-XL Set of 4, all DURABrite Ultra pigment.

This model is also on the short T788XXL list in Epson's product data — the WF-5110, WF-5620 and WF-5690 are the others. That fact is recorded here so the family picture is complete — and fenced: we sell no compatible XXL cartridge, and the XXL codes are not used as this page's product codes. The WF-4630 and WF-4640 pages in this family carry the opposite warning, because those two models take no XXL at all.

Which 786XL should you buy?

One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles are $19.49 each.
Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($67.44) replaces all four positions in one box.

Chip, ink and everyday use

A note on chips, stated plainly: these cartridges are chipped, and Epson's own manuals warn that a firmware update can stop a non-Epson cartridge that worked before it. Ours carry new compatible chips, with ink levels reporting as normal; reseat and restart first if a warning follows an update. The DURABrite Ultra pigment ink dries on contact and resists smudging — the right behaviour for office documents. Lifetime warranty and 1-year free returns stand behind every cartridge. Singles exist so one low colour never forces a full reset; the Set of 4 exists for the day the set runs down together. Every code on this page is an XL code — if the cartridge you removed reads standard 786, the XL equivalent here fits the same slot at the higher yield.
