WF-4834 Ink — 822XL, Chipped, Stated Plainly

Epson America's 822XL fact sheet closes its model list with the WF-4834, and the cartridge set is the family's: standard 822 codes (350 black / 240 per colour) and the XL codes stocked here — T822XL120 black, T822XL220 cyan, T822XL320 magenta and T822XL420 yellow — at 1,100 pages per cartridge, ISO/IEC 24711, DURABrite Ultra pigment throughout. There is no XXL tier in this family — any "822XXL" listing you meet elsewhere is borrowing the 812 family's structure and should not be trusted for this printer.

Nothing on this page fits an 812 or 232 printer, and the overseas "812" listings for this model are a regional code, not a US cartridge. Read the badge, match the 822 code on the cartridge you remove, and the rest is straightforward.

Which 822XL should you buy?

One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles — black $25.49, cyan $22.49, magenta $22.49, yellow $22.49.
Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($83.94) replaces all four positions in one box.
Stocked shelf: the Set of 9 ($175.37) stocks three blacks and two of each colour for offices that print every day.

Chip, ink and everyday use

Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip with ink-level reporting, so each position reads normally. Epson's documentation for this family is plain that the printer is designed for genuine Epson cartridges and that firmware updates may affect third-party ink; reseat and restart first if a warning follows an update. Our lifetime warranty stands behind every cartridge, with free returns for the first year. The DURABrite Ultra pigment ink comes out dry and resists smudging on everyday office paper. Free returns run for the first year on every product listed, and the lifetime warranty runs beyond it. Match the code, and this shelf is the simple one in the family.
