Built for the way these printers are actually used: three blacks, two of each colour. This bulk set holds nine 822XL cartridges — 3 × T822XL120-S black, 2 × T822XL220-S cyan, 2 × T822XL320-S magenta and 2 × T822XL420-S yellow — all DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, all high-capacity.

The mix is deliberate. Black is rated up to 1,100 pages per cartridge and each colour up to 1,100 as well (ISO/IEC 24711) — figures stated per cartridge and never totalled — but documents burn black far faster than colour, so a small office that restocks evenly ends up reordering black mid-cycle. Three blacks in the box matches the real consumption rhythm of the WF-4830-class machines this set is aimed at.
All six verified US models take these cartridges — WF-3820, WF-3823, WF-4820, WF-4830, WF-4833, WF-4834 — and no others: not the 812 family's printers and not the 232 family's. Each cartridge carries a new compatible chip; see the firmware note below. Lifetime warranty, free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is in the box?
Nine XL cartridges: 3 × T822XL120-S Black, 2 × T822XL220-S Cyan, 2 × T822XL320-S Magenta, 2 × T822XL420-S Yellow — the contents table is printed on the box front.
Why three blacks and only two of each colour?
Because that is how these printers consume ink. Black carries text, line work and shadows on nearly every page, while each colour serves a share of graphics and images. An even 2-2-2-2 restock leaves black as the mid-cycle emergency order; this mix is weighted to the real rhythm.
How many pages does the set print?
Per cartridge, not in total: every cartridge in the box — black and colours alike — is rated up to 1,100 pages (ISO/IEC 24711). Cartridges empty at different rates, so the nine are never summed into a single figure.
Which printers does it fit?
All six officially verified 822-family models: WF-3820, WF-3823, WF-4820, WF-4830, WF-4833, WF-4834. Each model takes the same 822 / 822XL code set, confirmed in Epson's own specification sheet and 822XL fact sheet.
Will these cartridges be recognised by my printer?
Each cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — Epson's own spec sheet for these printers warns that other brands, even if described as compatible, may not function properly. Power the printer off, reseat the cartridge until it clicks, and restart before assuming a cartridge is faulty. We do not promise recognition under every future firmware version; if a recognition problem cannot be cleared, the cartridge is covered by our lifetime warranty.
Can I turn off automatic firmware updates?
Yes, and for a printer stocked from a bulk box we recommend it: the setting lives in the printer's setup / maintenance menus and in the Epson software on your computer. It protects a working setup — and a shelf of spares bought for it — from a surprise change in how the printer treats compatible chips.
What kind of ink is inside?
DURABrite Ultra pigment ink — the same ink family Epson specifies for the whole 822 line, in all four colours. Pigment ink is why these printers are known for smudge-, water- and fade-resistant document prints.
How should I store the cartridges I am not installing yet?
Sealed in their packs, upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. A bulk box is a shelf stock, not a drawer of opened cartridges — open each pack only on its install day. (A specific shelf-life figure is not published for this product; see Specifications.)
Is the bulk set cheaper than buying singles?
Yes — the set is priced below the same nine cartridges bought one at a time, and the Set of 4 sits between the two for a lighter restock. Prices are shown on each product page.
How do I install cartridges from the set?
Position by position: remove the old cartridge for a colour, take the new one out of its pack, remove only the protective tape, do not touch the green chip, and press it into its holder until it clicks. Close the cover and let the printer charge the ink before printing.
Is this a genuine Epson product?
No — it is a Clever Supplies compatible set built to the genuine cartridges' specifications and codes, labelled compatible on the box and on this page. It is not manufactured by Epson.
What warranty and returns cover this set?
A lifetime warranty on every cartridge in the box: a cartridge that fails to perform is replaced. Free returns run for the first year. (Returns note: the 1-year returns period is our standing compatible-product policy, applied to inkjet as an assumption pending Emrah's inkjet-specific confirmation.)
