WF-4830 Ink — 822XL for a Two-Tray Office Printer

Epson America's 822XL fact sheet lists the WF-4830 by name, and its cartridge set is the family's standard eight codes: standard 822 (350 black / 240 per colour) and 822XL at 1,100 pages per cartridge (ISO/IEC 24711). For a printer built to hold 500 sheets across two trays, the XL tier is the natural match, and our shelf is built accordingly: T822XL120 black, T822XL220 cyan, T822XL320 magenta and T822XL420 yellow singles, the Set of 4, and the black-heavy Set of 9 — DURABrite Ultra pigment throughout.

The WF-4830 is also the model where the regional trap bites hardest in search results: overseas listings for this exact printer wear "812" badges, because in those markets the platform is sold under the 812 name. US machines are coded 822 — the cartridge door on a US WF-4830 says 822, and US 812 cartridges do not fit it.

Which 822XL should you buy?

One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles — black $25.49, cyan $22.49, magenta $22.49, yellow $22.49.
Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($83.94) replaces all four positions in one box.
Stocked shelf: the Set of 9 ($175.37) stocks three blacks and two of each colour for offices that print every day.

Chip, ink and everyday use

Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip with ink-level reporting, so each position reads normally. Epson's documentation for this family is plain that the printer is designed for genuine Epson cartridges and that firmware updates may affect third-party ink; reseat and restart first if a warning follows an update. Our lifetime warranty stands behind every cartridge, with free returns for the first year. The DURABrite Ultra pigment ink comes out dry and resists smudging on everyday office paper. Every cartridge is covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.
