ST-C5500 Ink: A Workgroup Printer With a Two-Set Start Epson's ST-C5500 page is explicit about both ends of the ink story: a box of 8 DURABrite ET bottles (2 × Black + 2 each of the colours) and replacement yields of "T542 — Black: 7,500, Color: 6,000" on the ISO pages. The machine was specced to run a long time between orders, and its refill shelf matches: one 542 family, four pigment bottles.
For a workgroup, the practical pattern is a set on the shelf plus black singles in between — black turns over roughly twice as fast in document-heavy use. Both options on this page are the genuine 542 fit: 127 mL black, 70 mL colours, keyed EcoFit nozzles, no chips.
All Clever Supplies 542 bottles carry a lifetime warranty and 1-year free returns.
