Frequently Asked Questions

The cartridge in my 6015V/B has a number on it. Should it match this listing?

Yes — that number is the surest guide you have. If the cyan cartridge you pull from your WorkCentre 6015V/B reads 106R1627, this listing is its like-for-like replacement. Model suffixes vary across this range; the part number does not, and it is the number — not the badge on the printer — that decides what fits.

How many cartridges does this purchase include?

A single cyan cartridge, priced at $31.99. Despite the plural "Cartridges" in the title, nothing about this listing is a multi-pack. The machine's other colours live under their own numbers — 106R1630 black, 106R1628 magenta, 106R1629 yellow — and are replaced individually as they fade.

What yield should I budget for?

Up to 1,400 pages at the standard 5 percent coverage, or about 2.28 cents per page at this price. A multifunction unit that copies in colour as well as prints spends cyan on both jobs, so offices leaning on the copier should expect the practical figure to sit below the rating.

What are the signs this cartridge is nearly done?

Blues lose their depth, greens turn yellowish and muddy, and solid areas of sky or water begin to band. Because cyan mixes into so many colours, its fading quietly distorts the whole palette before any single page looks obviously wrong — a colour test page makes the weak channel obvious.

Which other models take the same cyan?

The WorkCentre 6015 and WorkCentre 6015V/N, plus the Phaser 6010, Phaser 6010N and Phaser 6000. One cyan supply runs across the whole platform, printers and multifunction models alike.

What happens if the cartridge disappoints?

It carries a one-year warranty with free returns for a full year; the details are on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
