Frequently Asked Questions

Does the V/N in my model name call for a special cyan cartridge?

No. The letters after 6015 describe the machine's feature configuration, not a different supply. The WorkCentre 6015V/N loads the same 106R1627 cyan as every other model on this platform — if the cartridge coming out of your machine carries this number, the cartridge on this listing is its replacement, whatever suffix your model wears.

Am I buying a single cartridge here?

You are. One cyan cartridge ships for $31.99, even though the listing name ends in the plural "Cartridges." The other slots in the machine are filled by their own part numbers — 106R1630 for black, 106R1628 for magenta, 106R1629 for yellow — each a separate purchase when needed.

How long will it last in ordinary office use?

The rating is up to 1,400 pages at 5 percent coverage, the benchmark every maker quotes. Cyan spending depends on what you print: blue headings and the odd chart sip it, full-colour flyers drink it. Either way the arithmetic at $31.99 is about 2.28 cents per rated page, which makes a preventive spare an easy decision.

Which other machines share this exact cyan?

The WorkCentre 6015 and WorkCentre 6015V/B on the multifunction side, plus the Phaser 6010N, Phaser 6010 and Phaser 6000 printers. Xerox kept one cyan supply for the entire family, so stock is interchangeable across all of them.

What does failing cyan look like on this model?

Blues print pale or drift toward purple, greens turn muddy yellow, and solid cyan areas may show banding as the last of the toner spreads thin. Those are exhaustion symptoms, not faults — a fresh 106R1627 clears them on the first pages after the swap.

What cover is included?

A one-year warranty and free returns for a full year; the full terms sit on our shipping and returns page. We ship from IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, with support available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This WorkCentre 6015V/N Cyan Cartridge

This 106R1627 at $31.99 is the cyan cartridge for the WorkCentre 6015V/N — same supply as the rest of its platform, rated at 1,400 pages. The variant letters on the machine change nothing under the cover: pull the old cyan, match the number, and this is the cartridge that goes back in. Owners running several 6015-family machines can keep one shared spare. The wider compatible range is gathered on our Xerox toner page.
