Frequently Asked Questions

Is a six-pack the right restock size for two machines sharing one supply shelf?

For most shared-shelf setups, yes. Six cartridges is enough depth that one machine going through a heavy month does not strip the cupboard bare for the other, yet it is not so much stock that cartridges sit for years. At $282.62 the pack works out to $47.10 per cartridge, comfortably below the $55.13 black and $62.51 color single prices.

What is the per-cartridge cost compared with ordering singles?

$47.10 a cartridge, against $55.13 for a black bought alone and $62.51 for any color bought alone. The pack also collapses what would otherwise be several separate orders into a single shipment, which matters when two machines draw from the same shelf and requests tend to arrive one emergency at a time.

How far does the pack go in page terms?

By cartridge class: black cartridges for this platform are rated at 23,000 pages, and each color cartridge is rated at 17,000 pages. How quickly the pack is consumed depends on your balance of black-only versus color work — a copy room running mostly contracts will lean on the black cartridges, while a marketing office works through the colors first.

Which copiers draw from this pack?

The pack supplies Ricoh Aficio MP C3500 and MP C4500. Because both models use the same cartridge family, a single shelf stock serves either machine — there is no separate inventory to keep for each model.

Can we split the pack between two departments or floors?

Certainly. The cartridges are individually boxed, so dividing the pack between two supply points is straightforward. A practical approach is to keep the bulk of the pack at the main supply shelf and a working reserve near the second machine, so neither location can be caught with no toner at all.

What happens if volume drops and we do not use them all right away?

Sealed cartridges store well under normal office conditions, so a slower quarter does not waste the pack. And every cartridge carries a one-year warranty with one-year free returns, so even an unopened spare that turns out to be surplus sits within a generous return window — see our shipping and returns page for details.
