Frequently Asked Questions

Our black is still half full but all three colors are low — why does this set exist?

Because that is how these machines actually consume toner. Color cartridges tend to drift down together through shared use in everyday color pages, while black marches to its own drumbeat. This three-color set restocks cyan, magenta, and yellow in one order without forcing you to buy a black cartridge you do not need yet.

How much does the set save versus buying the three colors separately?

The three color cartridges bought individually total $187.53; this set is $150.56, a saving of $36.97. Each color still works out to the same rated 17,000 pages it carries as a single, so the saving comes purely from bundling, not from smaller cartridges.

Do the three colors wear evenly once installed?

No, and that is normal. Cyan often leads consumption in offices that print a lot of charts and screen-style graphics, while a marketing-heavy workflow may pull magenta or yellow faster. When one color eventually empties ahead of the others, replace just that one with a single cartridge — the remaining two keep working.

Which machines is this color set made for?

These are the cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges for Ricoh Aficio MP C3500 and MP C4500. Both models share the same color set, so this bundle restocks the color side of either machine; the black cartridge is simply not part of this particular set.

How should I store the colors I do not install right away?

Keep them sealed in their boxes, flat, in a normal room-temperature cupboard away from direct sunlight and heaters. Sealed toner cartridges hold up well in storage, so there is no penalty for installing one color this month and the next when its predecessor actually runs dry.

Can I return or exchange just one color from the set?

Yes. Every cartridge we sell carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, and that applies per cartridge, set or single. If one color is defective or underperforms, contact us and we will sort that cartridge out without unwinding the whole purchase — see our shipping and returns page for the full terms.
