Frequently Asked Questions

We keep replacing one cartridge at a time — is a full set actually cheaper?

Yes, by a clear margin. Bought individually, the black and three color cartridges in this set total $242.66; the set is $187.20, so you save $55.46. Beyond the savings, one order restocks the whole machine at once, which ends the cycle of a different color running out every few weeks and triggering another rush order.

What exactly is in the box?

Four cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow — a complete set for the machine, one of each color it uses. There are no duplicate colors and nothing extra to figure out; when the box is empty, every slot in the copier has been refreshed.

Will all four cartridges run out at the same time?

Almost certainly not, and they are not rated to. The black cartridge is rated at 23,000 pages while each color is rated at 17,000 pages, and real consumption depends on what you print — a text-heavy office burns black fastest, a graphics-heavy one goes through colors first. The set simply guarantees every color is on hand when its turn comes.

Which copiers does this set fit?

The set is built for Ricoh Aficio MP C3500 and MP C4500. Both models use this same four-cartridge set, so one set fully restocks either machine. If your office runs both models, a spare set on the shelf covers whichever one calls for toner next.

Should I install all four cartridges the day the set arrives?

Only the ones that are actually empty. Sealed cartridges store well, so install each color as the machine asks for it and keep the rest boxed on the shelf. Putting a fresh cartridge in early gains nothing and throws away whatever life the old one had left.

How does the warranty work on a set — what if one cartridge is bad?

Each cartridge in the set carries the same coverage as a single: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns. If one color underperforms, that cartridge is handled on its own — you do not have to send back or replace the whole set. Terms are spelled out on our shipping and returns page.
