Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually goes through three black cartridges — is this pack sized for a year?

For a workgroup printing around 5,000 to 6,000 black pages a month, three cartridges rated at 23,000 pages each cover roughly a full year of output. Busier departments will cycle through them faster, and lighter users may take longer. Either way, buying the year in one order means toner stops being a recurring errand.

What is the per-cartridge price in this pack?

The three-pack is $128.40, which works out to $42.80 per cartridge and saves you $36.99 against three singles at $55.13 each. Total rated capacity is 69,000 pages. It is our middle ground between the two-pack and the five-pack for steady, predictable volume.

Can the three cartridges be split between two machines?

Yes — nothing ties the pack to a single copier. Offices running two machines from this platform often keep the pack in a central supply cabinet and pull cartridges as either machine needs one. Just make sure everyone knows where the stock lives so a second pack is not ordered by mistake.

Which machines take these cartridges?

They are the 888604 black cartridge for the Ricoh Aficio MP C3500 and MP C4500 color MFP platform. The listing name highlights the C3500, but the platform shares this black cartridge across its models. If your current cartridge shows 888604, you are ordering the right item.

What if one of the three cartridges turns out to be faulty?

Each cartridge is covered individually by a one-year warranty, and returns stay free for a year from purchase. A single bad cartridge does not mean sending the whole pack back — contact us, describe the problem, and we will sort out that unit. Our shipping and returns page has the complete policy.

Any storage advice for a pack that gets used slowly?

Store the sealed cartridges flat, indoors, and out of direct sun. Mark the purchase date on the box if your office rotates a lot of supplies, and use the oldest stock first. Support is on hand Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, for any supply-planning questions.
