Frequently Asked Questions

Is an eight-cartridge set overkill, or does someone genuinely print this much?

Both are true, depending on the office. A multi-machine site or a department with heavy monthly volume can work through eight cartridges — blacks rated at 20,000 pages and colors at 15,000 pages each — without any of them aging on the shelf; a single quiet machine almost certainly cannot. At $664.96 this is a fleet purchase, and we would rather say so than sell it to the wrong desk.

How long will eight sealed cartridges keep before we use them all?

Stored sealed, flat and away from heat and sunlight, toner cartridges comfortably keep for a year and beyond. The real discipline is rotation: install oldest stock first and write the arrival month on each box so nothing sits forgotten at the back of the cupboard.

Are all eight cartridges right for our copiers?

They are built for Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 and MP C3300, which take the 8886-family cartridges this listing is named under. One platform covers the whole set, so a site running several of these machines can stock centrally with confidence — send us your model list if you want us to confirm before ordering.

Can we spread the set across several machines and floors?

Yes — the cartridges are standard units with no machine pairing, so the set can seed stock in more than one location. Offices often split a bundle like this between two floors and reorder centrally when the combined shelf gets thin.

Do the page ratings hold up at our volume?

The ratings — 20,000 pages per black, 15,000 per color — assume roughly 5% coverage, and high-volume sites tend to run heavier pages than that, especially on color. Expect the colors to cycle fastest; the set's size is precisely the buffer against that faster burn.

How does the warranty work across a set this large?

Individually, cartridge by cartridge: each one is covered by a one-year warranty and one year of free returns under our shipping and returns policy. If one underperforms, we replace or refund that cartridge — the other seven are unaffected.
