Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually needs five cartridges at one time?

An office that prints color daily and cannot afford a mid-week stop: a five-cartridge set covers a full working round of toner with one cartridge held in reserve, so the next low-toner warning is an inconvenience, not an emergency. At $397.77 it suits steady, predictable volume rather than occasional color use.

How are the yields spread across the five cartridges?

By cartridge class rather than by count: black cartridges in this family are rated at 20,000 pages each and color cartridges at 15,000 pages each. That is the honest way to read a multi-cartridge bundle — total pages depend on how your own mix of black and color work draws each one down.

Is this set compatible with our copier?

The cartridges are made for Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 and MP C3300, the machines that run the 8886 cartridge family. Every cartridge in the box shares that platform fit; if your model is on it, the set is the right one, and our team can confirm your model in a quick message if you want certainty first.

How should we store the cartridges we are not installing yet?

Sealed, flat, and in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight and heat vents. Toner cartridges stored that way keep for well over a year, so rotate stock oldest-first and only open a cartridge when the machine asks for it.

Will heavy color coverage shorten what we get from this set?

Yes — the per-cartridge ratings assume about 5% page coverage, and brochures, photos and full-bleed graphics can multiply color consumption. Black text work tracks the rating much more closely. If your color volume is heavy, expect the colors to cycle noticeably faster than the black.

What backing do we get on a bigger purchase like this?

The same backing as on a single cartridge, applied to each one individually: a one-year warranty and one year of free returns per our returns policy. A single weak cartridge never means sending the whole set back.
