Frequently Asked Questions

Our black output still looks perfect but every color page is off — is this the set we need?

Very likely, yes. This is a colors-only set — cyan, magenta and yellow, with no black cartridge in the box — built for exactly the situation where the 20,000-page black still has life but the three 15,000-page colors have faded together.

How much does bundling the three colors save?

The set is $285.67; the same three singles total $322.66 (cyan $91.68, magenta $91.68, yellow $139.30), so the bundle saves $36.99 and arrives as one shipment. If you only need one color, though, buy the single — a set is not a saving if two cartridges sit unopened for a year.

Does this set include a black cartridge?

It does not — and we would rather state that plainly here than have you discover it at install time. If your black is also near the end, the four-color set or a separate black single is the right companion order.

Will these three colors run in our machine?

Yes, provided your machine is on the platform this set is made for: Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 and MP C3300, which use the 8886-family cartridges named in this listing. All three colors share that fit, so one compatibility check covers the whole box.

Should all three colors be replaced together even if only one looks bad?

Usually it is worth it: the three colors were rated identically and generally age together, so when one fades the others are rarely far behind. Swapping all three in one session also restores color balance in a single calibration instead of chasing it across three separate changes.

How are we covered if a color underperforms?

Each cartridge in the set is individually backed by our one-year warranty and one year of free returns — the details live on the shipping and returns policy page. Support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and we resolve the single failing color without touching the healthy ones.

About This 3 Color Set

This set bundles the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges for the Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 and MP C3300 platform — 15,000 rated pages per color — at $285.67, a $36.99 saving over the three singles bought separately. It ships from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and black cartridges and larger bundles for the same machines are listed in our Ricoh toner range.

Every one of these machines takes this cartridge: C3000, Gestetner DSc525, Gestetner DSc530, Lanier LC435, Lanier LC440, Savin C2525, Savin C3030, C2000 and C2500. There is no black in this set: black prints from the 888636 black cartridge, while the three colors break out as the 888639 cyan cartridge, the 888638 magenta cartridge and the 888637 yellow cartridge.
