Frequently Asked Questions

When does replacing all four cartridges in one order actually pay off?

When the machine is new to you, when several colors are flagging low at once, or when downtime costs more than the toner does. At $341.72 the set saves $55.48 against buying the four singles separately ($397.20 total), and one delivery means one interruption instead of four spread across the quarter.

What exactly is inside this set?

One black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow cartridge — a complete working set with no spares. The black is rated at 20,000 pages and each color at 15,000 pages, so the colors will come due again before the black does; that stagger is normal for this platform.

Do these cartridges fit our copier?

The four cartridges in this set are built for Ricoh Aficio MP C2800 and MP C3300, which run on the 8886 cartridge family this listing is named for. Any machine on that platform takes all four; if your model sits outside it, message us first — a full set is an expensive thing to order on a guess.

Should we install all four the day the set arrives?

No — sealed cartridges keep fine on a shelf, so swap each one as its predecessor actually runs out. Installing a fresh color early throws away whatever pages were left in the old one; the set is a purchasing bundle, not an instruction to change everything at once.

Our pages use a lot of color. Will the set last as long as the ratings suggest?

Probably not — the 20,000-page black and 15,000-page color ratings rest on light 5% coverage, and presentation-heavy output can consume color toner several times faster. Treat the ratings as a comparison baseline, and reorder when the first color flags low rather than when the calendar says you should.

What if one cartridge in the set turns out to be faulty?

You are not returning the whole set over one bad cartridge — coverage is per cartridge, with a one-year warranty and a year of free returns as described on our shipping and returns page. Tell us which color is failing and we will replace or refund that one.
