Frequently Asked Questions

What should I check on the carton before I break the seal?

Two things: the code and the family name. The box should read W1470X and 147X. If the cartridge coming out of your printer carries that same code on its label, you have the right match and can open the carton with confidence.

Why does one high-capacity cartridge suit a legal office?

Filings, contracts and discovery bundles run long, and a deadline is the worst moment for a toner warning. A single cartridge rated at 25,200 pages means the M611dn in the corner can chew through weeks of heavy documents between changes, so swaps become rare, planned events instead of interruptions. The same cartridge serves the firm's other machines on the same rating — the M610dn and M610n, the M611n and M611x, the M612dn and M612x, and the M634h, M635z and M636z multifunctions by the copier.

Roughly how long will 25,200 pages last us?

Count your reams. A practice printing a few thousand pages a month will measure this cartridge's life in months, not weeks. Long text documents are economical per page; exhibits with heavy graphics use more, so treat the rating as a planning guide rather than a promise.

The first pages after a swap look pale. What should I do?

Take the cartridge back out and rock it gently side to side a few times — toner settles in transit and storage. Refit it and print a short test document. Output normally evens out within a few pages once the toner is redistributed.

Can we keep printing once the low-toner warning appears?

Yes, for a while. The warning is an early alert, not a hard stop, and the printer will keep working until the toner is truly spent. For court-date work, though, treat the warning as your cue to order rather than a challenge to run it dry.

Who do we call if print quality drops mid-case?

Our support team is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST for exactly that kind of question. The cartridge itself carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a defective unit is not your firm's problem to absorb.

About This W1470X Cartridge for Long-Document Work

Built around the HP LaserJet Enterprise M611dn, this 147X cartridge pairs the W1470X code with a 25,200-page rating — the combination a documents-heavy office wants when the printer sits steps from the attorneys and cannot afford downtime. The single cartridge costs $104.17; a firm between heavy cases can run the standard-yield 147A (W1470A) single and return to this one when the docket fills.

It ships from the nearest of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA; delivery details are on the shipping and returns page. You will find the rest of our range for these machines in the HP section of the store.
