Frequently Asked Questions

What is inside the package when it reaches the shipping office?

A single black cartridge for the 147X family, sealed in its bag and boxed for transit. This is the one-cartridge listing at $104.17 — open it, fit it, and the dispatch printer is back to printing packing slips and labels.

How do I confirm this is the right cartridge for our M612dn?

Match codes, not model names. The cartridge you remove from the M612dn will be printed with its part number; when that number is W1470X, this 147X cartridge is its replacement. It takes ten seconds at the machine and removes all guesswork — from this desk and from the rest of the building's machines, the M610dn, M610n, M611dn, M611n and M611x, the M612x, and the M634h, M635z and M636z multifunctions, which all match on the same code.

What does the 25,200-page rating mean for a logistics desk?

It means the cartridge is rated for 25,200 pages of standard output before it runs dry. A shipping office printing labels, manifests and invoices all day will still see a long service life, because most of those pages are light on toner compared with graphics-heavy work.

How can I check how much toner is left without opening the printer?

Use the supply status on the printer's control panel or print a supplies status page from the menu. Watching the gauge lets the office order its next W1470X before the current one fades in the middle of a dispatch run.

We have no shelf spare. When should we reorder?

When the gauge drops into its final stretch — roughly the last fifth — place the order. That leaves a comfortable buffer for delivery, and the printer never sits idle waiting on a carton while orders queue up behind it.

What if the cartridge arrives damaged?

Send it back. Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and damaged-on-arrival units are exactly what that cover exists for. Our support team can help Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST if anything about the return is unclear.

About This 147X Cartridge for the Dispatch Desk

The HP LaserJet Enterprise M612dn earns its keep in high-throughput corners like shipping and logistics, and this W1470X cartridge is built to match that pace: 25,200 pages per cartridge, in the 147X family, at $104.17 for the single unit. A desk with a lighter dispatch load can run the standard-yield 147A (W1470A) single and reorder as the routine dictates.
