What is in the 127 Set of 4 box?

How is this different from Epson's T127120-BCS pack?

Contents. Despite its name, Epson's BCS pack pairs a 127 black with 126 colors — its own product title reads “127/126 … 4-Pack”. This set is 127 in every slot: black 945 pages, colors 755 each, against the BCS pack's 440-page colors. We don't use the BCS code for this set, because it wouldn't be true.

How many pages does the set print?

Per cartridge: black up to 945 pages; cyan, magenta and yellow up to 755 pages each (ISO/IEC 24711). We never add the four into a single total — cartridges empty at different rates, and a summed figure would promise something no printer delivers.

Which printers does this set fit?

The 16 models on the 127 list: Stylus NX530/NX625; WorkForce 60, 545, 630, 633, 635, 645, 840, 845; WorkForce WF-3520, WF-3530, WF-3540, WF-7010, WF-7510, WF-7520.

Will it fit my Stylus NX430?

No — the NX430 takes 124 + 126 only. The same goes for the NX330, WorkForce 435 and WorkForce 520: no 127 cartridge, in any color or set, works in those four models. Their complete set is our 126 Set of 4.

Are the set's cartridges chipped?

Yes — each of the four carries a new compatible chip. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip; if your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — reseat the affected cartridge (never touch the green chip), restart the printer, and continue. Epson's family notes add that level displays can occasionally read imperfectly with non-original cartridges on this platform.

Set of 4 or Set of 9 — which should an office buy?

The Set of 4 is a full reset: one of everything, all at maximum endurance. The 127 Set of 9 (three blacks, two per color) is the restock pattern for machines in daily service, where black changes come roughly twice as often as color changes. Homes and light offices: Set of 4. Busy WorkForce machines: Set of 9.

Can I install only the colors I need from the set?

Yes — cartridges are individual and independent. Fit what's low, keep the rest sealed, upright and out of sunlight, and open each only when its turn comes (Epson's platform guidance: use an opened cartridge within about six months).

127 set or 126 set for a dual-tier WorkForce?

Endurance against unit cost. A 127 set runs 945/755 pages per cartridge against the 126 set's 415/440 — fewer interventions, usually a lower cost per page, a higher box price. If the printer earns its keep daily, the 127 set is the working choice; for a backup machine, the 126 set is the honest one.

For the NX530 or NX625, is there anything bigger?

No — 127 is the top tier those models accept, and this set is that tier in full. (Their lower tier is 125 Standard.) What you see on this page is the largest fill Epson's specification allows for them.

Is this a genuine Epson set?

No. It is the Clever Supplies compatible set built to the four 127 cartridge specifications, labeled compatible on the box and this page — and, unlike the OEM BCS pack, it is 127 in all four positions.

What if one cartridge in the set fails?

The lifetime warranty covers each cartridge on its own — a faulty one is replaced individually, without returning the set — and free returns apply within the first year.
