Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is in the box?

Four cartridges, one of each color: 1 × T069120-S Black, 1 × T069220-S Cyan, 1 × T069320-S Magenta, 1 × T069420-S Yellow — all standard-capacity 69 cartridges, all DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, each with a new compatible chip.

How many pages does the set print?

Per cartridge, never as a combined total: black up to 245 pages; cyan up to 350; magenta up to 350 (Epson's published ratings). The yellow carries no figure — Epson's official yield for it could not be verified, so we print none, here or anywhere. Slots empty at different rates, which is exactly why a summed number would mislead.

Which printers does the set fit?

30 of the 31 family models: the Stylus CX and NX ranges, the N11, and WorkForce 30, 40, 310, 315, 500, 600, 610, 615 and 1100. The one exception is the Stylus C120 — see the next question.

Why isn't this set listed for the Stylus C120?

Because the box contains a 69 black, and the C120's black is a different cartridge — the high-capacity 68. Its colors are 69s, so C120 owners buy the cyan, magenta and yellow singles; selling them this set would mean selling a black they cannot use.

I have a WorkForce 1100. Is one set a full change?

Almost — the 1100 holds two black cartridges at once. This set fills both color slots and one black slot; add one black single (T069120) and the change is complete. The Set of 14 is the other route: it stocks five blacks.

Do the cartridges have chips?

Yes — every cartridge in the set carries a new compatible chip. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur with compatible cartridges of this generation — reseating the cartridge resolves most cases, and if it doesn't, contact us: the cartridge is covered by our lifetime warranty and 1-year free returns. We don't claim guaranteed recognition; we stand behind the cartridge instead.

Set or singles — which should I buy?

If one slot is low, a single is the honest buy. The set earns its place when two or more slots are low together, when a printer is returning to service after sitting, or when you want a known starting point with all four levels even. There is no rule that a low black obliges you to replace healthy colors.

How does this differ from Epson's own color multi-pack?

Epson's T069520-S multi-pack contains only the three colors. This set contains all four cartridges including the black — the complete refill — as Clever Supplies compatibles built to the four T069 specifications.

Only one cartridge in the set is faulty. Does the whole set go back?

No. The lifetime warranty covers each cartridge on its own: a single faulty cartridge is replaced individually, without returning the other three.

Is this a genuine Epson set?

No — this is a Clever Supplies compatible set, built to the genuine set's specification and labeled compatible on the box and on this page. It is not manufactured by Epson.

How should the set be stored until I need it?

Sealed, upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources.

Warranty and returns?

Lifetime warranty: a cartridge that fails to perform is replaced. Free returns within the first year.
