The long-run yellow: our compatible T127420-S is an Extra High Capacity DURABrite Ultra pigment cartridge rated up to 755 pages (ISO/IEC 24711). Yellow is the easiest color to underestimate — it is half of every green, the warmth in every skin tone and the highlight in every chart — and on this platform's office machines it quietly underpins a large share of color output.

Stepping yellow up to 127 stretches its interval from the 126's 440 pages to 755, matching the rest of an Extra High set across the WorkForce 545, 630-series and 840/845 all-in-ones, the WF-3520/WF-3540 pair and the wide-format WF-7010/WF-7510/WF-7520 — plus the Stylus NX530 and NX625, whose tiers are 125 + 127. The pigment formulation keeps yellow saturated and smudge-resistant on plain paper documents, where dye yellows tend to look thin.
It carries a new compatible chip; Epson's own family pages for this platform carry a “Low Ink Reminder” note about level displays, which the FAQ below explains in plain terms. The boundary of the 127 universe is firm: no 127 cartridge fits the NX330, NX430, WorkForce 435 or WorkForce 520. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 127 yellow rated at?
Up to 755 pages (ISO/IEC 24711) — the same published figure as the other two 127 colors, from Epson's WF-3540 specification. Against the 126 yellow's 440 pages, that's the Extra High step-up; against real-world use, yellow consumption swings most with photo and highlight-heavy printing.
Which printers does the T127420 fit?
The 16-model 127 list: Stylus NX530, NX625; WorkForce 60, 545, 630, 633, 635, 645, 840, 845; WorkForce WF-3520, WF-3530, WF-3540, WF-7010, WF-7510, WF-7520.
My NX430 needs yellow — this one?
No. The NX430 is a 124 + 126 printer; its yellow is the T126420. The 127 tier fits none of the NX330, NX430, WorkForce 435 or WorkForce 520 — a boundary Epson's own Quick Guides draw for those models.
Will this compatible cartridge be recognized?
This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — remove the cartridge, check the green chip contact is clean and untouched by fingers, reseat it firmly, and restart the printer. Epson's own guides for this platform also note that ink-level readings can occasionally display incorrectly with non-original cartridges; the cartridge still prints its full rated yield.
The level display seems off since I installed it. Faulty?
Probably not. Epson's 126/127 family pages publish a “Low Ink Reminder” note: this platform's status monitor can display ink levels imperfectly, including with non-original cartridges. Print quality is the reliable gauge; the cartridge delivers its rated yield regardless of a lagging display.
Pigment yellow — does it matter?
On documents, yes: DURABrite Ultra pigment yellow resists smudging and water on plain paper and keeps highlights and chart segments saturated where dye can look washed out. It's the same ink family as every other position in this platform.
Can yellow step up to 127 while other colors stay 126?
Yes — slots are independent on dual-tier models, so each color can move tiers on its own schedule. Owners commonly upgrade black first, then whichever color their work burns fastest.
Greens look blue and prints look cold. Yellow again?
That's the textbook yellow shortage: greens lose their yellow half and warm tones go cold. Confirm with a nozzle check (missing yellow band) and the level display, then replace — this cartridge, if your model is on the 127 list.
How should spares be stored?
Sealed in the box, upright, room temperature, away from sunlight. Open only when installing; Epson's platform guidance is to use an opened cartridge within about six months. (Published shelf-life figure: pending supplier confirmation — see Specifications.)
Is there a combined color cartridge instead?
No — this platform is four individual cartridges by design, black and each color separate. That's what lets a single low color be replaced (or stepped up a tier) alone.
Is this a genuine Epson product?
No. It is a Clever Supplies compatible cartridge built to the T127420-S specification, labeled compatible on the box and this page.
What warranty do I get?
A lifetime warranty — a cartridge that fails to perform is replaced — and free returns within the first year. (Returns period note: 1-year returns is our standing compatible-product policy, applied here as an assumption pending Emrah's inkjet-specific confirmation.)
