Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is in the box?

Four Moderate-capacity cartridges: 1 × T124120-S Black, 1 × T124220-S Cyan, 1 × T124320-S Magenta, 1 × T124420-S Yellow. The contents table is printed on the box front.

How many pages does the set print in total?

We don't add them up, and neither should a listing you trust: each cartridge has its own rating — black up to 190 pages, each color up to 175 (ISO/IEC 24711) — and colors drain at different rates depending on what you print.

Which printers does this set fit?

All eleven 124 models: Stylus NX125, NX127, NX130, NX230, NX330, NX420, NX430 and WorkForce 320, 323, 325, 435.

We own an NX430. Is there a 125 set for it instead?

No — and be wary of one offered elsewhere. The NX430 (like the NX330 and WorkForce 435) takes 124 and 126, never 125. This Moderate set is the correct set for it on our shelf.

And for an NX530?

This set does not fit it. The NX530 runs on 125 Standard (and 127); so do the NX625 and, for 125 only, the WorkForce 520. Their set is the 125 Set of 4.

What ink is in the cartridges?

DURABrite Ultra pigment in all four colors — instant-dry, water- and smudge-resistant document ink.

Chips?

Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip. This set's cartridges carry new compatible chips; if your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — install one cartridge at a time if an error appears, so you can identify the cartridge, and remember the lifetime warranty covers any that won't perform.

Two cartridges are still half full. Install the whole set now?

You can, but you don't have to: swap only the empty colors now and keep the rest sealed as spares. Individual replacement is what this platform is designed for.

How does this set relate to Epson's own T124120-BCS pack?

Same idea, same four Moderate cartridges (black + three colors) — Epson sells that combination as its 4-pack. Ours is the Clever Supplies compatible version of the same contents; Epson also sells a colors-only pack (T124520-S), which we don't offer as a set.

Storage for the box?

Sealed, upright, room temperature, away from sunlight. Once opened, use cartridges within about six months per Epson's platform guidance.

Is this a genuine Epson set?

No — Clever Supplies compatibles built to the four 124 cartridge specifications, labeled compatible on the box and this page.

If one cartridge in the set fails?

The lifetime warranty covers each cartridge individually — the faulty one is replaced on its own; free returns apply within the first year.
